Alligator & Ostrich Leather Loafers
Please use our men's shoe size guide to help determine what size shoe best fits your foot. Our shoe sizing guide shows the converted measurements from US sizing to UK and EU sizes. We have also included measurements in both inches and centimeters. Please note that the measurements in centimeters and inches refer to the size of the shoe, not the size of the foot inside of the shoe. That said, please allow a few millimeters of clearance between the shoe measurement and your foot measurement to ensure the shoes will fit properly.
Our shoes are of a medium (D) width. For gentlemen who wear a wide (E) width shoe, we recommend sizing up a half size. For instance, if a gentleman wears a 10.0E, we recommend ordering a 10.5 from our selection. Unfortunately, we have found that our shoes do not fit men who wear a EE or EEE width shoe.
For women's shoes, please refer to the inches and centimeter measurements to best determine shoe size. Typically, there is a two size difference between men's and women's shoes. For instance, if a lady wears a size 8.0 in women's sizes she would wear a 6.0 in men's shoes.

Using an informative map of the United States we would like to let you know how long it will take for you to receive your order from Jay Butler. All of our orders ship from northeastern Pennsylvania and ship via USPS or FedEx.
Overnight shipping is available for domestic orders at a surcharge of $25.
Please keep in mind that this map only covers domestic shipments. It does not cover international shipments, which generally take three to seven days to arrive.

Returns and exchanges are valid for 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging that is also to be returned in an undamaged state. Gift cards are not eligible for return.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item if you paid for the original shipping of the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you paid no fee for the shipping of your order, Jay Butler will provide you with a shipping label to send your order back for a refund or exchange.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund within a reasonable period of time, please feel free to inquire with Jay Butler. However, if may be best to first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Items sold on sale are accepted for returns and exchanges. Certain items sold on clearance may not be eligible for exchange and return. If this is the case, it will be noted.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Jay Butler would like to announce an exclusive made to order offer. We are offering our Cromwell, Millbank and Shipley models in genuine American alligator leather or genuine ostrich leather. Additionally, we are offering belts to match. All of the shoes will be made to the same high quality of standard that our shoes normally are. There are few things more elegant, masculine and tastefully distinctive than a fine pair of alligator leather loafers.
All models are handcrafted on our Bonita last and will fit true to size, however, if you have a wider foot we advise you opt for a half size larger than normal. All sizes are noted according to US sizes.
The color options for both alligator are black, brown and red (unfortuantely, we do not have any samples made in red but do have a photo of a red hide, see above). In ostrich we are offering our shoes in brown. Each of the models will be available for $845 and will deliver at the beginning of May. For the more enthusiastic of you, we will offer two pairs for $1,555 and three for $2,095. Belts are $245 and must be ordered in conjunction with a pair of shoes, $195 if more than one is ordered. The deadline for orders is Friday, January 29. Orders may be placed through this page or by email, if you choose the former, please email us (help@JayButler.com) to inform us of the size, color and style you would like as well as any other points you feel to be relevant.
It is worth noting that because of the properties of alligator and ostrich leather, the tie on the Shipley model will be made of suede to match the color of the upper. The sizing of these shoes will be the same as the sizing for all of our other leather soled shoes, as they are crafted on the Bonita last. For ladies please select a size 2 sizes smaller than your normal size. For instance, if you normally wear a women's 8, please opt for a 6. For belts we recommend you order one size up from your waist size, if you wear a 34 pant, order a 36 belt. Shipping for shoes on all orders is complimentary. Because these shoes will be made on a custom basis we will NOT be able to offer returns or exchanges for our alligator and ostrich loafers. As such, we advise that if you are interested in purchasing a pair that you first order a pair of our regular shoes to ensure you have to correct sizing. Because of the unique nature of exotic skins the color and scaling of each pair of shoes will differ slightly. Additionally, payment is to be made via credit card or PayPal and is due at time of order. We hope you find this offer amiable.
